本書共分三部分，第一部分是作者備受爭議、2004年寫成的舊作《四代香港人》，以四篇文章剖析對四代人的看法；第二部分收錄作者繼「世代論」之爭，睽違十多年後再論不同年齡層意見分歧的文章，補充新舊世代的聲音；第三部分呈現作者對香港社會矛盾加劇的觀察，進一步探討青年人如何回應香港的變化，以及整個社會如何回應年輕一代的聲音。

呂大樂
現為香港教育大學社會科學與政策研究學系之客席研究講座教授，於2016至2021年間擔任副校長（研究與發展）。曾先後任教於香港大學、香港城市理工學院及香港中文大學。他早年畢業於香港大學，於牛津大學取得博士學位，研究範疇廣泛，涵蓋階級分析、經濟社會學、城市社會學和香港社會研究等領域，一直熱心參與社會事務。牛津出版《唔該，埋單》、《尷尬：香港社會還未進入一國兩制的議題》等。

4) Returned Packages
If a package is returned due to unsuccessful delivery or failure to collect, customers are responsible for covering the additional shipping costs required to resend the order.
