《紐約時報》開篇是這樣介紹這本小說的：「陳冠中的政治寓言小說《盛世》出版，書中對『大國崛起』做了大膽的想像，所述政治與社會生態多有切中現實，一時風靡，成為中港台三地知識界、文化界的熱門話題。在《盛世》預言的年份2013年，居住在北京的作家出版了他的第二部同中國現實緊密相關的小說——《裸命》。」《裸命》以藏族青年強巴為視角，這是一個命運顛沛流離的富有象徵意味的人物，他的身份從情人、動物保護團體志願者、維穩賓館的保安，直至為人頂案的落跑者，他所處的環境也隨之在西藏和北京之間變幻，這使強巴目睹了中國之怪現狀，他本人也演繹了藏族人在中國「漢族強勢政策」中的生存困境。「有一種比吃苦受氣還難受的感覺，像掉在地溝一身髒，像活在異度空間……自己負責控管別人，卻好像失去自由的是自己一樣。」
《裸命》也許會被解讀為又一部政治隱喻小說。 對此，陳冠中說在他創作的時候就猜到一定會有讀者產生這樣的聯想，他在接受《紐約時報》中文網採訪時說：「讀者這樣想我一點意見都沒有，但我自己在寫作的時候並沒有往隱喻小說推，並不是每一個人物都有索引，每一個情節都有背後的深意。我覺得即便從文本本身來看強巴這個小人物的遭遇也足以令我們深思。」

3) Shipping & Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, we will provide a tracking number. Customers are responsible for monitoring delivery status and collecting the package from the post office if home delivery is unsuccessful.
4) Returned Packages
If a package is returned due to unsuccessful delivery or failure to collect, customers are responsible for covering the additional shipping costs required to resend the order.
